Powering Heavy-Duty
Mobility
DC Megacharger is an Austrian R&D project, accelerating the European shift to zero-emission heavy transport. For the first time, it will enable direct access to the medium-voltage grid combined with high-performance direct current (DC) charging at about 4 MW – setting a new benchmark in speed, efficiency, and material savings, designed for European-wide deployment.

-

Move
Smart charging for electric buses – designed for cities, depots, and public transport networks.
-

Grid
Grid-ready technology – medium-voltage access for cost-saving, future-proof charging hubs.
-

Industry
High-power charging for ports, mines, and industry – where performance meets resilience.
Built for High-Power.
Made for Heavy-Duty.
Discover how DC Megacharger is transforming heavy-duty transport. With direct medium-voltage access and high-performance direct current (DC) charging, vehicles like buses, trucks, and cranes charge in minutes – not hours. Less material, lower costs, and unmatched speed: this Austrian innovation sets new standards in scalable, zero-emission logistics.
DC Megacharger wins Houska Prize 2025
